Knights Templar Exhibition
Museums are often full of showcases and protected displays, but what if you wanted to recreate an actual tent within the museum itself. A place where visitors can dwell and immerse themselves in a sensory experience as if they were a Templar Knight.
To take an empty room and transform it into a tented exhibition is quite a challenge, but like the Templar Knights our designers and fabricators are not ones to retreat and created an exciting visitor experience for the Guildhall Museum in Rochester that is both memorable and fun.
Malcolm Wright, Designer for Medway Council was delighted with the result, commenting:
“I recently had the pleasure of working with Fitzpatrick Woolmer on a museum exhibition in Rochester, Kent. I had initially commissioned them to handle just the build and installation but, as the project developed, they added so much more to the process. They contributed much to creative design of the exhibition as well as numerous suggestions of techniques, methods, finishes etc that brought the finished install to life. They were always on hand to answer questions and no problem was too big, or small, for them to tackle. Throughout the whole process Fitzpatrick Woolmer were extremely efficient and professional; always on time and, more importantly, on budget.
This was the first major project I had worked on with Fitzpatrick Woolmer, and on the strength of this I have already commissioned them to undertake another of our heritage projects. I look forward to working with them on much more in the future and cannot recommend them highly enough to undertake creative projects of any size and for any sector“.
